Özdemir + Alkış Law Office is the interior transformation of a 445 m² office unit in Gayrettepe, Istanbul, into a functional and refined workspace for a contemporary legal practice. Led by ODA Creative + Architecture, the project encompassed interior architectural design, construction documentation, bespoke detailing, and on-site coordination, resulting in a workplace shaped by clarity of use and the rhythm of daily operations rather than visual spectacle.

The design organises the office into three primary zones: shared client-facing spaces, internal staff areas, and private offices. Circulation is resolved through wide corridors and acoustically insulated glass meeting rooms—transparent yet discreet—balancing openness with privacy. Upon entry, a restrained reception with brushed stainless steel details, dark oak millwork, and a low acoustic ceiling establishes a quiet, confident tone.

Custom furniture, developed in collaboration with EB Design, integrates desks, modular storage, and panel-embedded lighting into a coherent spatial language. A muted material palette—natural oak, matte lacquer, fluted glass, and oversized ceramic tiles—reinforces tactile consistency and allows spatial organisation to take precedence over decorative expression.

Technical systems were integrated in coordination with Power Group (electrical) and Pupa Engineering (mechanical), embedding HVAC and lighting seamlessly into ceilings and walls. Trimless, indirect lighting maintains a calm atmosphere across work areas.

While it does not seek to redefine the workplace typology, the project reframes it for its users—providing a measured, consistent, and deliberately constructed environment where legal work can unfold in spaces that embody precision, coherence, and quiet confidence.
