Beykoz Villa C is the complete transformation of a detached house within the gated community of Beykoz Konakları into a contemporary family residence—reconsidered in its interiors, landscape, construction detailing, and material system. Led by ODA Creative + Architecture, the 596 m² interior and 609 m² garden were redesigned through a comprehensive design-build process encompassing architecture, interior design, custom detailing, material selection, construction supervision, and landscape layout.

The design strategy focused on clarifying circulation, strengthening connections between interior and exterior, and establishing a coherent material language. On the ground floor, the entrance, kitchen, living, and dining spaces were unified into a single volume oriented toward the garden. Smoked oak millwork, natural stone flooring, and textured matte surfaces form a calm, durable base, with all woodwork custom-designed in collaboration with Dinçer Wooden Furniture & Decoration.

The garden was treated as an extension of the home, with a custom stone layout, layered planting scheme, and shaded seating zones aligned with interior functions. Transitions between hardscape and softscape were calibrated in both material and level, reinforcing a seamless flow between inside and out.

On the upper level, the master suite, children’s rooms, and a shared study prioritise privacy while maintaining visual softness. Neutral tones, low-sheen finishes, and trimless lighting support a sense of continuity and calm throughout. Technical systems—electrical by Zara Engineering, mechanical by Açık Mechanics—were coordinated from the outset to integrate seamlessly with the architectural framework. Construction was executed by Sonuç Construction under the close direction of the design team.

Villa C is not conceived as a showcase, but as a highly tailored living environment—defined by material precision, measured spatial gestures, and an architectural language that favours comfort over spectacle, and continuity over contrast.
